A nice patriotic cover featuring Luther Ladd of the 6th Massachusetts Militia, who was an early Union martyr. Ladd had been shot and killed in Baltimore in April 1861. The cover is unused with residue on the reverse from a previous album placement. Measures about 5 1/2” x 3”.
